Tikka T3/T3X Bottom Plate from Royal Hunting Sweden is made from CNC-machined 7075 aluminum with a hard-anodized surface (Matte Black). Manufactured from a solid aluminum block, this bottom plate offers increased resistance compared to cast parts or original composite bottom plates, while also stiffening the weapon and providing more contact surface for tension.

The lightweight construction not only improves durability but also offers more finger space inside the forend. The magazine receives a more precision-engineered fit, resulting in a tighter seating in the chassis and thus improved stability with more reliable feeding of the round. Its design includes a new and improved magazine button that makes it easy to use even with gloves. It fits perfectly in the original stock with Tikka’s original magazine (single 5-round mag) for both long and short action, suitable for both left and right-handed users. EASY INSTALLATION:

Loosen the existing chassis screws, remove the current bottom plate, and replace it with the RHS Tikka Bottom Plate. Then, screw back in either the existing screws or opt for the upgraded RHS chassis screws, which further optimize your Tikka rifle.

MAGAZINE HANDLING:

Insert your magazine by pressing on the front part of the magazine (where the magazine button is) while pulling back towards yourself until you hear the click. For easier removal of the magazine, a 5-round magazine is best suited for grip friendliness. This magazine handling technique can also be found on Sauer and other well-known brand firearms.

TIP: If you find the magazine is too tight after installing the new bottom plate, or you want to make it more user-friendly even for a 3-round magazine, you can slightly straighten out the bend on the resistance blade located on the trigger. Remove the screw holding the trigger and use pliers to bend the blade back, as indicated on the firearm.
